Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "Each tree is known by its own fruit … The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil." Luke 6:43-45 NASB. Insight One thing I know that always causes us to ask questions is death. All we want to hear and search for is answers. Yes, we want answers. Why? How? What? Jesus pointed us towards the answer concerning our lives and inevitably living a righteous life. The fruit (our personality, actions and morals) we produce, is a clear indication of who we are in Christ. We need to remember that we all have limited understanding and make subjective decisions based on imperfect information. But, as Jesus told us, we learn a lot about people by examining their fruit. “There is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor … a bad tree which produces good fruit” in verse 43. Challenge Today, ask God to give you discernment as you consider the fruit others produce. Realize that others evaluate you by your fruit you produce. What do they see? Submit your life to the Holy Spirit. Let Him produce His good fruit in you. Through everything you do and say, be a witness for the Gospel, and let your light shine! Allow Jesus to make you a good tree, today. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
