Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "So pay attention to how you hear. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what they think they understand will be taken away from them.” Luke 8:18 NLT.
Insight
Applying God's Word helps us grow. This is a principle of growth in physical, mental, and spiritual life. Jesus warns us here to listen and take in what He is teaching us. For example, a muscle, when exercised, will grow stronger; but an unused muscle will grow weak and flabby.
Challenge
If you are not growing stronger in the Lord, you are growing weaker; it is impossible for you to stand still in growth. How are you using what God has taught you through His Word? Today, acknowledge that you need God in your life. Grow by becoming hungry for God's Word and seek His righteousness. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
