Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly." James 3:1 NLT. Insight Teaching Gods Word and Ways was a highly valued and respected profession in Jewish culture, and many Jews who embraced Christianity wanted to become teachers. James warned that although it is good to aspire to teach, the teachers' responsibility is great because their words and example affect others' spiritual lives. Running together with this is Gods strict judgement on all who teach, to live a righteous and spiritually sound life. Challenge If you are in a teaching or leadership role in Ministry, how are you affecting and growing those you lead? Ensure that your teaching and life is grounded in God's will and not your own. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
