Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "No man can ransom another, or give to God the price of his life … For he sees that even the wise die; the fool and the stupid alike must perish and leave their wealth to others." Psalm 49:7, 10 ESV.

Insight

Does God just want to punish us? Deny us pleasures and keep us from enjoying life? Many reach conclusions like these. The truth is that He wants the best for us. But He also wants us to avoid mistakes, do the right thing, and have the most meaningful perspective.

He sees many people wasting their time and resources, living with the illusion that their things will last forever. They dream of power and riches, only to see their wealth left to others. They pursue pleasures that quickly fade.

The fact is that God does not desire to deprive us, but He wants to bless every part of our lives. He wants us to experience joy and fulfillment. But we must realize that these blessings are from Him in Ecclesiastes 2:24. He is the key to finding purpose in life.

This means committing everything to Him. Live according to His principles. Seek first His Kingdom. Receive His discernment about how to spend our time and what to do with our resources. He can bless this kind of life.

Challenge

Ask God to give you His perspective on your life – your work and hobbies, your money and resources, your home, and your relationships, and the things that cause stress and worry. Place your hope in Him. Dedicate yourself to His kingdom. Invest in things that will last. Let Him pour out His richest blessings on you.

Prayer

Father, show me Your perspective on my life. I seek Your discernment. Thank You for blessing me. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
