Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord's kindness." 1 Peter 2:2-3 NLT.
Insight
One characteristic all children share is that they want to grow up—to be like big brother or like sister or like their parents. When we are born again, we become spiritual newborn babies. If we are healthy, we will yearn to grow. How sad it is that some people never grow up. The need for pure milk is a natural instinct for a baby, and it signals the desire for nourishment that will lead to growth.
Challenge
Just so all Christians were new born babies in their birth into Christ. As adults we are producing fruit depending on the quality and standard of milk we drank as new believers. Milk is the true and pure Word of God. Once we see our need for God's Pure Word and begin to find His spiritual nourishment in Christ, our spiritual appetite will increase, and we will start to mature. With this maturity comes the call to do God's Will. Find your purpose in Him today? May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
