DAILY DEVOTION - 2 MAY 2021.

FAMILY OF FAITH MINISTRIES.

Good morning. The Peace of God be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "You complained in your tents, and said, 'Because the Lord hates us, He has brought us out of the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.'” Deuteronomy 1:27 NKJV.

Insight: As they approached the Promised Land, the Israelites began to face the reality of the challenges before them. Looking ahead, they realized they would encounter strong, well-equipped armies and cities guarded with fortified walls. As they readied to meet this opposition, many assumed that defeat was inevitable.

How quickly they had forgotten God’s faithfulness! They did not seem to believe that He could do what He had promised. Instead, they complained and wallowed in despair. Since they had been following God’s directions, they reached the amazing conclusion that He must hate them!

How many people today have this same attitude? As they encounter barriers, they assume that victory is impossible. Facing strong opposition, they feel discouraged and even defeated. They may have heard God’s promises but don’t feel He can help them.

How are you responding to the challenges you face? Are you discouraged? Filled with doubt? Complaining?Or do you trust in God?Are you confident that He will deliver and provide for you?

Challenge: Today, renew your faith in God. Believe that His promises are true for you. Persevere in the face of any obstacles. Trust that He can give you victory and achieve what may seem impossible. As the Israelites learned, He is bigger than any wall, stronger than any army, and more powerful than any adversary. Remember, God loves you. Be confident in Him. Believe Him for success!

Prayer: Father, forgive me for complaining about the circumstances I face. I trust You, and I believe You for victory. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.🙏🏼🔥🙌🏼💖
