DAILY DEVOTION - 21 MARCH 2021.

FAMILY OF FAITH MINISTRIES

Good morning. The Peace of God be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "I have specifically chosen Bezalel … filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts. He is a master craftsman … He is a master at every craft!" Exodus 31:1-5 NLT.

Insight: Why was Bezalel chosen to oversee the building of the tabernacle, ark, and other precious objects? God prepared him for this assignment and gave him the necessary skills. God declared him a master. Gifted with wisdom and intelligence, he approached this special work thoughtfully, developing plans and pondering the best way to accomplish each task. While blessed with practical abilities, he also could be innovative, developing new ways to do things if necessary. And he had high standards. Knowing that he was working for God, he sought to create objects of excellence and beauty.

But these human traits and skills were not enough. He could create extraordinary objects and furnishings for the tabernacle because he was filled with God’s Holy Spirit. Bezalel is a model for us. Like Bezalel, we, too, must realize that God has chosen us. He has given us special assignments and prepared us for these assignments. He calls us to excel in every task. We need to be sensitive to

the leading of His Spirit.

Challenge: The Bible teaches us that everything we do should be done “whole-heartily, as to the Lord and not to men”, in Colossians 3:23 NKJV. This means working with excellence, giving God glory on how we live our lives. Seek to build a relationship with God through His son, Jesus Christ. Don’t be content with good enough, but do every task with thanks and excellence by righteousness.

Prayer: Father, help me to fulfill Your calling on my life. Help me work with excellence. I give You all glory and thanks in everything I do. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.🙏🏼🔥🙌🏼💖
