Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, in your faith, and in your purity." 1 Timothy 4:12 NLT.
Insight
Timothy was a young pastor. It would have been easy for older Christians to look down on him because of his youth. He had to earn the respect of his elders by setting an example in his speech, life, love, faith, and purity. You also should know that your children and your family also looks at your life and behaviour and some sees you as their role model. You should always ask yourself. Who am I showing to everybody surrounding my life? Is it from God or the deceiver.
Challenge
Just like Timothy. Regardless of your age, God can use you. Whether you are young or old, don't think of your age as a handicap. I was called at 16 yrs but refused to accept the call because I wanted to live out my life as a teenager. Now that I am much more older I regret not accepting God's call on my life. It starts with easy changes. 1. Build your relationship with God and Jesus. 2. Study God's Word and the life of Jesus Christ. 3. Live so others can see Christ through you. 3 easy steps to accept the calling, answer it today because your family and friends need a soldier in God's army to lead them to Christ. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
