DAILY DEVOTION - 26 MARCH 2020

Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "I was glad when they said to me, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19‭-‬20 NIV.

Insight

As South Africans enter a 21 day lockdown in our homes we draw strength from Paul today. The knowledge given to us who believe that through Jesus Christ our bodies have been transformed into temples housing Gods Holy Spirit .

Challenge

We may find worshipping God difficult if we have unconfessed sin or if we feel abandoned because of our confinement in our homes. Paul tells all believers that God is within our bodies. Making it easier to enjoy His presence through His Holy Spirit. We will be eager to worship and praise Him. Let us use this time to strengthen our relationship with God, our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit's guidance and direction. May God bless and protect you all.
