DAILY DEVOTION - 26 SEPTEMBER 2020

Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. “Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.“ 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 NLT. Insight Paul wanted the Corinthians to understand that they were a unified assembly. They were not to see themselves as a collection of competing interests or independent individuals. Paul was emphasizing the intent of Jesus' prayer in John 17:21-23 that believers be unified in God.

Challenge What actions can you take this week to strengthen your ties to fellow Christians in your family or social circle? Today, stand together with fellow believers and strive for unity in God. Our fight is not against each other but against evil and unrighteousness. Through unity we become holy and righteous as the temple of God. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name.
