DAILY DEVOTION - 28 APRIL 2021.

FAMILY OF FAITH MINISTRIES.

Good morning. The Peace of God be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "He changes rivers into deserts, and springs of water into dry, thirsty land … He also turns deserts into pools of water, the dry land into springs of water … They sow their fields, plant their vineyards, and harvest their bumper crops. How he blesses them!" Psalm 107:33, 35, 37-38 NLT.

Insight: The Bible promises that God desires to bless us, even when circumstances seem hopeless. He can transform “deserts into pools of water” and “dry land into springs of water.” The psalmist also wrote about sowing fields, planting vineyards, and harvesting bumper crops. But this harvest would not be possible unless seeds were sown, and the vineyard was planted. Whenever we sow a seed, we participate in a process called germination. In the natural world, after seeds have been planted, they remain dormant for a time ranging from a few weeks to many years. Farmers cannot give up just because they don’t reap an immediate harvest. They need to realize that their seeds are germinating.

Remember this when you think about God’s work in your spiritual life. You may have sown seeds but not received an immediate harvest. This does not mean that He has forgotten you, or that His promises are not true. He is prepared to bless you so that you “multiply greatly” in verse 38 NKJV. If you sow seeds, you can expect to reap a harvest at the right time in Galatians 6:9.

Challenge: Don’t be discouraged if you do not see instant results when you sow a seed – be it your time, treasures, or talents. Remember, your seeds need to germinate. As you sow into God’s kingdom wait patiently, confident that He will bless these seeds and give you an abundant harvest.

Prayer: Father, I will sow into Your kingdom with my time, talents, and resources. I know You will produce a harvest. I trust You. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.🙏🏼🔥🙌🏼💖
