Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "Because God's children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying." Hebrews 2:14-15 NLT.
Insight
Christ's death and resurrection set us free from the fear of death because death has been defeated. Every person must die, but death is not the end; instead, it is the doorway to a new life. All who dread death should have the opportunity to know the hope that Christ's victory brings.
Challenge
Throughout life we have to depart from this world we living in. The mystery of death of which nobody knows where we go after death. As Christianscwe believe God's Word and fully acknowledged that a place in heaven awaits us called eternal life. This is the promise from God to all who believe and is born again through Christ. Today, as we grieve the death of a loved one and in the process to bury a loved one. We hold fast onto our faith that our loved ones lived a righteous life and always had a relationship with God and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Are you born again and what have you done to help your loved ones to be a born again Christian? May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
