DAILY DEVOTION - 31 MAY 2021.

FAMILY OF FAITH MINISTRIES. Good morning. The Peace of God be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "I have cared for you since you were born … I will be your God throughout your lifetime … I made you, and I will care for you." Isaiah 46:3-4 NLT. Insight: God is the creator of life and He made a promise to all His created people: He had been with them in the past, beginning with their birth. And He would continue to be with them. This promise had a particular impact as they grew older. Even in Isaiah’s time, it could be easy to overlook the senior citizens of society and for them to feel forgotten. In our commercialized society, much of the focus is on youth. They are the target of much advertising. Marketers know that if they can hook a person when young, they can have a customer for life. Younger people typically lead a more active life. They are more likely to try new things, experiment, and buy new products. They are more interested in finding ways that enhance attraction and promise excitement. In contrast, older people often live at a slower pace and typically are more conservative. They don’t buy as many newer products. People may find themselves overlooking the aged, particularly those who have retired. They often take them for granted. And older people can find themselves feeling neglected.

Challenge: God promised to carry us “until your hair is white with age” in verse 4. Others might forget us, but God always will remember. No matter your age, remember that God is with you. He promises to continue to carry you. Rest in His love, confident that He cares for you. Prayer: Father, thank You for being with me today and throughout my life. I trust in You. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.🙏🏼🔥🙌🏼💖
