DAILY DEVOTION - 4 MARCH 2020

Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "For he issued his laws to Jacob; he gave his instructions to Israel. He commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children," Psalm 78:5 NLT. Insight God commanded that the stories of His mighty acts in Israel's history—and His laws—be passed on from parents to their children. This shows the purpose and importance of Bible education: to help each generation obey God and set its hope on Him. It is important to keep children from repeating the same mistakes made by their parents. Challenge What are you doing to pass on the history of God's work to your children and the next generation? Have you left this important responsibility to others because you have better things to do? The home is the foundation on which God's Word stands and grows. Teach your children the ways of the Lord.
