Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "Though his ministry follows mine, I'm not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandal.” John 1:27 NLT.

Insight

John the Baptist said he was not even worthy to be Christ's slave, to perform the humble task of untying Jesus sandles. But according to Luke 7:28, Jesus said that John was the greatest of all prophets. If such a great person felt inadequate even to be Christ's slave, how much more should we lay aside our pride to serve Christ!

Challenge

When we truly understand who Christ is, our self-made pride and self-importance must melt away. We must turn from a self-serving person to a servant of all believer. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
