DAILY DEVOTION - 5 SEPTEMBER 2020

Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved." Acts 2:46-47 NLT.

Insight

Christianity was a new thing to the people of God. Not even the leaders in the temple fully understood what was happening. Jesus followers where threatening to overthrow the old way of doing things. A healthy Christian ministry attracts people to Christ. The christians zeal for worship and brotherly love was contagious. A healthy, loving ministry will grow in numbers.

Challenge

Every believer should be a ministry on their own to spread the Gospel of Christ. What are you doing to make your ministry the kind of place that will attract others to Christ? Today, stop hiding your ministry and make it known to the world. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
