Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "And why worry about a speck in your friend's eye when you have a log in your own?” Luke 6:41 NLT
Insight
Jesus doesn't mean we should ignore wrongdoing, but we should not be so worried and obsessed about others' sins that we overlook our own. Remember nobody is perfect, no not one. We all have sinned and fallen short of God's Glory. We often rationalize our sins by pointing out the same mistakes in others.
Challenge
What kinds of specks in others' eyes are the easiest for you to criticize? Remember your own “logs” when you feel like criticizing or pointing out others sin, and you may find that you have less to say and more to pray for. Today, let us deal with our own weaknesses according to God's Word and start a process of healing and renewal as a "new creation" through Jesus Christ. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
