Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be." Matthew 6:21 NLT

Insight

Jesus made it clear that having the wrong treasures leads to our hearts being in the wrong place. What we treasure the most controls us, whether we admit it or not. Your heart is the source of your desires. That is why Jesus wants to give us a new heart, His heart.

Challenge

If the desire for possessions or money become too important to us, we must re-establish control or get rid of desires that will keep Jesus out of our hearts. Jesus calls us to make a decision that will allow us to live contentedly with whatever we have because we have chosen His eternal values over temporary, earthly treasures. Today, establish where the desires of your heart is. If it's not filled with Jesus and His Word then our desires are worldly and we are lost. If it's filled with Jesus and His desires we are walking in God's plan and purpose for our lives. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
