DAILY DEVOTION - 8 APRIL 2021.

FAMILY OF FAITH MINISTRIES.

Good morning. The Peace of God be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "When any man of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of animals from the herd or the flock." Leviticus 1:2 NASB.

Insight: Millions of Christians attended youth camp meetings every year. For many, these are life-changing events. But not everyone is equally blessed. What we got out of the youth camp depended upon our faith and offering/time/treasure/talent.

This reflects the powerful Biblical truth that we always "reap what we sow" in Galatians 6:7. What we reap is a byproduct of what we have sown. If we sow little, we only will reap a little.

The Israelites needed to understand what it meant to give towards God's kingdom. Offerings had to be made from animals that were part of “the herd or the flock.” They had to be given from the heart. They were to be an animal in which time and resources had been invested.

David understood this principle. When God told him to build an altar on the threshing floor of Araunah, this man told David to take it and use it as he wished. But David insisted on paying what it was worth. He would not give a burnt offering that cost him nothing in 2 Samuel 24:18-25. He could not honour God without making an offering that was acceptable to God.

Challenge: God is observing if we will invest in His Kingdom. He sees directly into our hearts. Let us Demonstrate our love for Him by giving Him wholeheartedly our time, treasure and talents. Give offerings of meaning and faith to impact peoples lives matter.

Prayer: Father, I offer up my time, talents, and treasures to You and seek to advance Your Kingdom with my offerings. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.🙏🏼🔥🙌🏼💖
