DAILY DEVOTION - 9 AUGUST 2020

Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." John 4:13‭-‬14 KJV. "Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” John 6:35 NLT.

Insight

People eat bread to satisfy physical hunger and drinks water to sustain physical life. We can satisfy spiritual hunger and sustain spiritual life only by a living relationship with Jesus Christ. No wonder he called Himself the "Bread of Life" and said, "the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."

Challenge

Jesus must be our provider of everlasting life, both spiritual and physical life. Christ must be invited into our hearts and daily walk. Without Jesus we are lost to life. Today, believe in Jesus, as all you need to enter eternal life is He alone. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
