DAILY DEVOTIONS - 30 OCTOBER 2019

Good morning. Peace be with you all. Rejoice in the Lord always. "I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done." Philippians 3:7 NLT. *Insight* When Paul spoke of “these things,” he was referring to his old credentials, credits, and successes. His old life he lived as a persecuter of Jesus followers. After showing that he could beat the Judaizers at their own game, being proud of who they were and what they had done. Paul showed that life is worthless if it is not given new life through Jesus Christ. *Challenge* Be careful of considering past achievements so important that they get in the way of your relationship with Jesus Christ. Today, focus on your new life through Jesus Christ and keep away from being drawn into the old life you lived. May God bless and protect you all. In Jesus mighty name. Amen
